Fall Saturdays could easily be called Bishop McDevitt’s day in the Mid-Penn. The Crusaders are 5-0 and #1 in our Great 8 poll.

Hosting Altoona, McDevitt played their home game of the year and didn’t waste any time. In the second play of the game, McDevitt’s Jameel Poteat takes the handoff, gets to the edge, and he’s gone 41 yards to put the Crusaders up. 7-0 Bishop McDevitt

With one minute left in the first                quarter, McDevitt was up 14-0 and Poteat gets the ball again. He Cuts all the way back across the field making defenders miss him, then picks up 24 yards on the play.

Which led to this: Matt Johnson finds Salath Williams for a 15 yard TD pass. The Crusaders didn’t stop after that and blanked Altoona.

Final Score: Bishop McDevitt 49, Altoona 0
