Columbia HS Renovations Underway
send to friend offensive
You've got to be kidding me! Did the principal actually say that $17 million in renovations was necessary to help the students learn? What are the teachers there for? Since when did a building teach the students? They pay this lady $80k a year to think like that? What is this school board thinking? I graduated from Columbia High School and we didn't have these amenities, yet we survived. Some upgrades were needed, but not to the tune of $17 million dollars. I'm proud to have graduated from CHS, but I'm glad I no longer live in Columbia. With decisions like these, it's no wonder they have the highest millage rate in Lancaster County even though they have one of the smallest student bodies among Lancaster County High schools.

In its first renovation project since 1957, Columbia HS broke ground on a $17 million construction project that is sure to benefit each and every student.
