Mother Nature gave it her best, but most teams said the game must go on!

The rainy and raw weather couldn’t keep most of the Susquehanna Valley footballers off the field! Check out who’s still going strong after week 7, and find out which games were postponed.

GAME OF THE WEEK: Penn Manor vs. Manheim Township: Both teams come in with one loss each, the Blue Streaks are unbeaten in league play, and both have been big play teams! So who tonight’s matchup?

Littlestown vs. Delone Catholic: Both teams came in with just one loss each and they had the rain to deal with.

Harrisburg vs. Lower Dauphin: The Cougars broke out their secret handshake for this matchup and it seemed to work!

Upper Dauphin vs. Line Mountain: It’s been 20 years since Upper Dauphin won the Twin Valley league, but this year they are sitting at the top with a perfect record. Line Mountain is sitting right behind them and played host for this first place battle.

Middletown vs. Trinity: Since losing to Lancaster Catholic opening weekend, the Shamrocks have rattled of 5-straight wins. Trinity hosted the Blue Raiders, who happened to be the team who knocked them off in the district playoffs last year.

Bishop McDevitt vs. Chambersburg: McDevitt is #1 in the state and a suddenly resurgent Chambersburg team. Could Chambersburg pull the upset?

Red Lion vs. South Western: Red Lion is officially without Chad Kelly, and the Mustangs simply dominated this matchup.

Spring Grove vs. New Oxford: New Oxford held a Pink Out and this game ended up going into OT!

Manheim Central vs. Conestoga Valley: Once upon a time, this was the best rivalry in the L-L League. Lately the Barons have dominated while CV struggled to anyone the past 2-years. This year has been different for the Bucks as they have put together a fairy tale season, but could they down Manheim Central?

McCaskey vs. Warwick: Both teams had their starting quarterbacks out with illness and injury, the rain played a role in this low scoring game, and the Warriors were coming off of consecutive losses. Were they able to rebound against a winless McCaskey?

Northern vs. Gettysburg: It was muddy and nasty on the field, but the Polar Bears still managed to pile on the points.

East Pennsboro vs. Milton Hershey: Milton Hershey took an early lead, but were they able to hold on to it?

Mechanicsburg vs. Big Spring: The Wildcats are on a roll this year and they rumbled past Big Spring.

Cedar Crest vs. Hempfield: Both team entertained playoff hopes when the night began and the loser would likely be eliminated from district consideration. Who’s still in the running?

Cumberland Valley vs. Carlisle: The Eagles had a comfortable lead throughout the game.

Tri-Valley vs. Millersburg: A home game for the Indians and they come up with a hard-fought, well-earned, low-scoring victory.
