Full body paint, standing bare-chested in the middle of a snowstorm, wearing a banana suit, even just showing up and acting crazy.

Let’s face it: fans don’t always get the credit they deserve, and we’ve decided to change all of that! Let’s hear it for all those crazy and loyal enough to support their team in rain or snow and through wins or losses.

Let’s kick things off with the Battle of the Fans that was held between Lancaster Mennonite and Pequea Valley, a.k.a. the "Blazin' Blazers" and the "Roarin' Braves"!

Despite the soggy weather the Solanco Mules had a lot to cheer about! The Mules moved to a 1-1 record after taking down Kennard-Dale, but it was the fans who took center stage. They are this week’s Fans of the Week!

Football Friday went live from Red Lion for the first time ever and this crew was a fun bunch! They hoisted News 8’s Mike Straub up for some crowd surfing and are this week’s Fans of the Week!

The Central Dauphin Rams know how to define the word “fans!” They had their green and white paint, hair dye, and all the works to cheer the Rams onto a week 1 victory. They are this week’s Fan Of The Week!!

The band was pumped, the cheerleaders were cheering, and the fans were psyched to be hosting their first-ever Football Friday! It was only appropriate that senior WR James Morton stole the show to get the team energized!

Who said it's not about the fans? The Donegal proud came out to support their girl's soccer team and they got quite a treat. The girl's won the programs first-ever state title and refused to give up a goal in doing so!

Like many other football goers across the Susquehanna Valley, the Hempfield fans bundled up, grabbed their rain gear, and hit the stands to cheer on the Black Knights. They are this week’s Fan of the Week!

When September 4^th rolls around, the WGAL sports team and High School Playbook will be covering as many as 16 football games every Friday night throughout the season. While on-air, the sports crew will show the photo of the week, one uploaded by you, our users, and selected by the crew. The image will also be featured on High School Playbook.com.

What kind of pictures should you upload? It could be a shot of you and your friends on the sidelines. It could be you taking a breather from practice. It could be a candid shot of your favorite player during the game. The picture doesn’t have to be sports-related, just be sure to keep it clean!

How to get started:
