At the 2009 Black Knight Invitational, Hempfield continues to dominate with a convincing win over E-Town, Warwick, Dallastown, Garden Spot, Penn Manor, Oxford, Conestoga Valley, and Donegal.
The Knights have now won 7 consecutive Black Knight Invitational titles.
Kevin Hull of Hempfield faced E-Town's Dustin Horning in a 1600M showdown. Horning was the indoor state 4th place finisher, but Hull claimed this race coming in the final 100 meters, finishing at 4:21.3. It was the 3rd best 1600 run at Hempfield High School.
