If you like down-to-the-wire games and overtime thrillers, you’ll love this week’s Football Friday: Playoff Edition!

Welcome to another playoff edition of Football Friday and what a week it was! Six games went down to the wire, one went into OT and another went into double OT!

GAME OF THE WEEK: Cumberland Valley vs. Central Dauphin: A rematch between two Mid-Penn powers that gave us the Game of the Year! This time around, however, there was more at stake and The Eagles and Rams didn’t disappoint.

Penn Manor vs. South Western: It was a classic matchup in the coral and the Comets were looking for the minor upset.

Cocalico vs. Susquehanna Township: This game was a scoreboard operator’s nightmare in a rematch from last year’s playoffs.

Conestoga Valley vs. West York: West York turned on the offense in the second half and rallied to send the game into OT, but they didn’t stop there: this one ended in double OT!

Middletown vs. Lancaster Catholic: Lancaster Catholic beat Middletown for the district title last year and was dominate in the semifinals this year.

Daniel Boone vs. Manheim Central: The Barons were sitting perfect at 11-0 and looking for the 12th win of the season, but Daniel Boone was on their heels all night.

Millersburg vs. Steel-High: A blocked extra point proved to be the game-winner.

York Catholic vs. Upper Dauphin: The Trojans held off an Irish offense that was relentless.

Littlestown vs. Delone Catholic: A monster rematch that had the Bolts looking for revenge.

Hershey vs. Conrad Weiser: This game was another overtime thriller that ended up as a 1-point decision.

Central York vs. Wilson: The Bulldogs pulled out all the tricks in a big win over Central York.
