With football just around the corner, we take a look back at the best plays of the 2008 season...check it out!


 

Football is just around the corner, which means big hits, great playmakers, and some show stopping plays! But before you get too excited, take a look at some of the best plays from the 2008 season!

 

 

Weeks 1 & 2

 

Lebanon quarterback James Capello simply refused to go down! He had an impressive jaunt and took it to the end zone for a score. Watch the Play

 

Red Land’s Dan Yeager appeared to be stopped by Cedar Cliff’s defenders, but he just kept going. Watch the Play

 

On the opening kickoff to Northeastern’s first ever varsity game, the Bobcat’s Patrick Hilbert made history. 

 

 

 

Right before the half, Spring Grove QB Ian Smith dropped back for a pass, almost went down, but managed to scramble, air mail, and deliver the ball to Ben Ryder for the TD. Watch the Play

 

Manheim Central's Jeremy Knosp lofted it up to the corner for Alex Shenk, who did a great job keeping on foot inbounds. Watch the Play

 

Opening kickoff for the 2nd half lands in the hands of Brandon Real, who weaved in and out, back and forth, to and fro, and any other opposite you can think up. Watch the Play
